Learning by Doing in the desert, ancient cities, tea gardens, and fishing villages

Let’s go to the desert, fishing village, ancient city, tea garden … Let’s travel around the world – our “borderless” classroom. From April 26-28, Daystar Grade 6-10 students embarked on the Community Connections Experience. They travelled to Qingdao, Xi’an, Suzhou, Inner Mongolia to explore the local cultures, understand the social and community development, and learn about the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the UN.

On May 13, Ivy Education Group’s annual Unity Day and Daystar Academy’s 20th-anniversary celebrations kicked off at Daystar Beigao Campus. “Discovering” Ourselves: Daystar’s First High School Graduates Received Their University Offers!

As April came to a close, all 15 of our Grade 12 students have received multiple offers of admission amounting to 154 admission letters from 91 higher education institutions (10.3 per person), including public and private research universities, comprehensive universities, and liberal arts colleges located in North America, Europe, and Oceana. The scholarship offers received are worth more than RMB 27,000,000.
