INNO-IMAGINE GRANTS AWARDS

Introduction

The Inno-Imagine Grants Awards are a designed to cultivate social innovators of any age. Students, staff or parents can reflect on issues they care about and explore their community or campus to identify a need and create and implement a solution proposal to help address that need, linked to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Past projects include creating a student meditation/relaxing space, designing and selling Olympic postcards to raise money for an animal shelter or creating an on-line rural tutoring service with classmates. The award is a financial grant of up to 2000RMB based on the solution proposal budget and the Committee also provides some coaching/mentoring support to students to implement their project.

Eligibility

·      Grade 1 to 12 full-time students currently enrolled at Daystar Academy. The Inno-Imagine Grant Awards are also open to staff and parents to apply with their solution proposals.
